These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aluminum application and aluminum.app website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Contained, Inc., a Delaware corporation. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Aluminum. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the Service.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Connected Accounts
Aluminum connects to third-party services such as email and calendar providers on your behalf. By connecting these accounts, you authorize us to access and process the data necessary to provide our features, including sending that data to our servers for processing. You may disconnect these accounts at any time through the app.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
- Do not use automated means to access the Service without our permission
Subscriptions and Billing
Aluminum is currently free to use. In the future, we may introduce paid subscription plans. If we do, we will notify you in advance and provide clear pricing before any charges apply. You will not be charged without your explicit consent.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Aluminum — including design, code, and branding — are owned by Contained, Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing sumu@aluminum.app. You may also request an export of your data before deletion.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated content such as drafted replies may contain errors and should be reviewed before sending.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contained, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from AI-generated content or actions taken based on notifications.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
